BOARD OF DIRECTORS SUPPORT COMMITTEES
To carry out its functions, the Board of Directors has the advice and support of up to four (4) support committees. In accordance with the law or defined by it, integrated and designated by it. The committees are the following: Audit Committee, GAP Committee (Asset and Liability Management), Corporate Governance Committee and the Credit Committee to support the Board of Directors, which act as a filter and reinforce the objective analysis of the decisions that correspond to the Board of Directors; These will submit periodic reports to the Board on the development of their activities.
Audit Committee
The purpose of the Audit Committee is to serve as support to the Board of Directors in making decisions related to the control and improvement of the Internal Control System. The Audit Committee is responsible for defining the structure and supervision of the operation of FINDETER's Internal Control systems, so that it can be established whether the procedures designed reasonably protect the assets of the Entity, ensuring the transparency of financial information and its appropriate use and acts in accordance with the provisions of External Circular 029 of 2014 issued by the Financial Superintendence of Colombia, and other provisions that modify or replace them.
Corporate Governance Committee
The Corporate Governance Committee is a support body for the management carried out by the Board of Directors regarding FINDETER’s good governance. Its purpose is to recommend to the Board of Directors systems for the adoption, monitoring and improvement of best practices in the organization and other functions assigned to it by its regulations.
GAP Asset and Liability Management Committee
The Asset and Liability Management Committee - GAP is responsible for approving and monitoring the investment strategy of FINDETER´s investment portfolio, as well as reviewing the structure of assets and liabilities based on the policies established by the Board of Directors.
Support Credit Committee for Board of Directors
The objective of the Credit Committee to support the Board of Directors is to monitor and recommend the general guidelines and conditions of the credit lines to the Board of Directors.
